Cielo
As the sole VFX artist on Cielo, I was involved from the earliest stages of production through to final delivery, playing a key role in shaping the film’s visual language. Working closely with the production team from initial drafts, I contributed to the development of VFX concepts and helped guide how they were realised on screen.
The work spanned a wide range of techniques, including 3D modelling for set replacements, 3D animation, rotoscoping, sky replacements, compositing, and general cleanup and extensions. This required a flexible, design-led approach—balancing creative intent with practical execution across the pipeline.
A central part of the process involved designing and integrating CG environments and elements to support the film’s tone and atmosphere. From early concept through to final compositing, I ensured that each shot remained visually cohesive, with careful attention to lighting, perspective, and continuity.
Across the project, I maintained full ownership of the VFX pipeline, delivering a combination of subtle, invisible work and more prominent CG-driven shots, all aligned with the film’s evolving visual direction.
