Frankenstein: Legacy
As the sole VFX artist on Frankenstein: Legacy, I was responsible for delivering all visual effects
across the project, working from post-production through to final delivery. In collaboration with
the director and production team, I established a practical and efficient approach suited to the
film’s scope, budget, and schedule.
The work spanned a broad range of VFX techniques, including the creation and integration of
CG elements through 3D modelling, look development, and rendering. I also composited
live-action elements such as fire, fog, and atmospheric effects to enhance the film’s visual tone.
A significant portion of the work involved detailed cleanup and paint, removing modern elements
and refining shots to maintain the period setting. This required careful tracking, patch creation,
and seamless integration across a variety of shot types.
Across approximately 250 shots, I managed the full VFX pipeline from initial shot work through
to final delivery. The work ranged from subtle, invisible fixes to more complex CG-driven shots,
all supporting the film’s overall visual continuity.
