Game
Directed by John Minton
Produced by Geoff Barrow and Deborah Rawlings
An ‘Invada Films’ Production
As the sole VFX artist on Game (2025), I was responsible for delivering all visual effects across the project from post-production through to final delivery. Working in collaboration with the production team, I ensured the work aligned with the film’s visual tone and practical requirements.
The project focused primarily on cleanup, enhancements, and environment extensions. This included the removal of unwanted elements, refinement of on-set details, and subtle visual improvements to support continuity and immersion.
A large portion of the work involved repeated tasks across multiple shots, such as logo removal from wardrobe, foliage enhancements, and object removal. These required consistent tracking, paint, and compositing approaches to maintain continuity across sequences.
The film also featured stylised psychedelic sequences, which were developed directly by the director to match a specific creative vision. My role remained focused on the core VFX work and seamless integration across the rest of the film.
Across approximately 100 shots, I handled the full VFX pipeline, delivering a range of invisible effects designed to integrate naturally with the live-action footage.
